A few things to share...
I've FINALLY created an Amazon store that features my favorite books, DVDs, and magazines on topics I love including diabetes and good health. You can check it out and order straight from the store. Happy browsing, buying, and reading!
My latest a1c was 7.7. Not horrible, but not great. I've gone back on four weeks of Vitamin D because my levels are consistently low, and low levels of Vitamin D can create fatigue and insulin resistance. My doctor continues to be pleased with my diabetes management, and I'm constantly working to learn and change.
I'm speaking at a diabetes support group meeting at the beginning of May on the topic of diabetes burnout. I'm a "get back up on the horse" kind of girl, and I hope to inspire and support fellow diabetics. If any of you, my dear readers, have any thoughts on tips I can share with beating-burnout, please share with me!
And as you can see in the photo, I'm a busy mom of two baby girls, which you can read more about on my other blog. I posted a few recipes last week if you're interested. I'm still writing for various publications. And, of course, trying to manage this crazy disease.
